Dr. Clive Darwell is a senior bioinformatician and statistical analyst with 12+ years of research experience across three continents - including postdoctoral research at US and Japanese institutions, a permanent research position at Thailand's national science agency (NSTDA), and two years at UK Biobank - the world's largest biomedical dataset (30 petabytes) - where he served as the organisation's most senior bioinformatician for the majority of his tenure. Clive specialises in genomic data analytics, statistical modelling, and reproducible computational workflows across human, clinical, and applied biological systems. Dr. Simon Segar is an Associate Professor at Harper Adams University with 15+ years of international research experience spanning evolutionary genomics, statistical analysis, Bayesian and frequentist modelling, evolutionary and quantitative biology, and scientific strategy. He has led significant funded research programmes - including RADseq-based NGS sequencing strategies spanning non-model insect systems and host-microbe interactions - and has delivered projects across three continents in collaboration with universities, government agencies, and industry partners. Simon brings deep expertise in study design, quantitative analysis, scientific writing, and the translation of complex biological data into evidence-based conclusions.
